Salesforce is an American enterprise software and artificial intelligence company founded in 1999 and headquartered in San Francisco. The company has established itself as one of the world’s leading CRM providers, helping businesses and institutions integrate sales, customer service, marketing, commerce, data analytics, collaboration, and artificial intelligence into a single platform.
The company operates internationally, serving businesses, public administrations, and organizations across multiple industries. In 2025, the company reached $41.5 billion in revenue, representing 10% year-over-year growth, according to its official results. Salesforce also surpassed 83,000 employees globally, based on corporate information published by the company itself.
In Spain, Salesforce maintains a well-established presence, with Madrid serving as one of its main operational hubs. Headquartered at Paseo de la Castellana 79, in the heart of the capital’s financial and corporate district, Salesforce has spent more than a decade supporting the digital transformation of Spain’s business ecosystem through CRM, data, automation, and artificial intelligence solutions.
According to an IDC study published in 2019, Salesforce’s ecosystem was expected to generate an economic impact of $17 billion and create 48,600 direct jobs in Spain between 2019 and 2024. The company was also recognized as one of the best places to work in Spain, according to the Great Place to Work 2024 ranking.
Madrid offers an environment especially aligned with Salesforce’s business model
Major corporate clients, digital talent, advanced professional services, public administration, international connectivity, and a business ecosystem undergoing digital transformation all make Madrid particularly attractive for Salesforce. The Madrid Region has identified digitalization and artificial intelligence as priority sectors for attracting investment, supported by a high concentration of technology companies, startups, qualified talent, and corporate activity.
In this context, Salesforce can leverage Madrid as a platform to promote CRM, data, automation, and AI agent solutions for businesses and institutions. In addition, the institutional relationship with the region has strengthened: in 2025, representatives from the Madrid Region visited the Salesforce Innovation Center in New York to learn about Agentforce and explore its potential for public services in Madrid.
Projects
One of Salesforce’s main milestones in Madrid has been the consolidation of Agentforce World Tour Madrid, the company’s annual event in the capital focused on digitalization, data, and applied artificial intelligence for businesses. The event has positioned the region as one of the key stops on Salesforce’s international circuit for showcasing its latest innovations to clients, partners, developers, and business leaders.
In 2024, the event brought together more than 1,200 clients and partners and enabled attendees to create more than 200 service agents, according to Salesforce. In 2025, the event attracted more than 3,000 attendees, confirming the growing interest of the Spanish market in autonomous AI solutions applied to business processes.
The 2026 edition, held on April 16 at Pavilion 14.0 of IFEMA Madrid, once again positioned the capital as a showcase for Agentforce and for the “agentic enterprise” model promoted by Salesforce. This continuity reinforces the role of the Madrid Region as a strategic market for the adoption of enterprise AI, CRM, automation, and digital transformation.
