This was detailed by the Minister of Economy, Finance, and Employment, Rocío Albert, during the inauguration of the new headquarters of the German group Dräger for Spain and Portugal, located in the Beloira Building at Campo de las Naciones.
Albert emphasized that the commitment of companies like Dräger strengthens Madrid’s position as a leading biopharmaceutical and medical technology hub, and he noted that the region leads foreign investment in Spain and hosts more than 14,000 foreign-capital companies. The councilor also highlighted initiatives such as the 2026–2030 Industrial Plan and the Digital Talent Plan, endowed with 20 million euros to train 10,000 Madrilenians in technological disciplines, with the aim of continuing to offer companies an environment of competitive taxation, legal certainty, and highly skilled human capital.
