This funding will be used to cover costs arising from the purchase of business premises and facilities for own use, land for the construction of industrial workplaces, machinery, and IT equipment, among others. The aim is to promote operational efficiency and productivity in the sector, as well as innovation and the improvement of processes and business models.
For medium-sized and large companies, the grants will cover 60% of expenses, rising to 75% when the investment is made in workplaces located in municipalities with fewer than 2,500 inhabitants. In the case of SMEs with fewer than 50 employees, the amount will generally increase to 75%.
Since the first call, these grants have supported 53 companies in the sector, with a total amount of nearly 9 million euros. In 2024, 2 million euros were allocated to larger companies, benefiting 12 recipients. The following year, the budget was increased to 7 million euros: 4 million for the line aimed at companies with between 50 and 1,000 employees, involving 25 entities, and 3 million for small and medium-sized enterprises with fewer than 50 employees, with 16 SMEs included in the program.
Both calls will fund acquisitions that meet the requirements and were carried out in 2025. The maximum grant amount will be €300,000 per beneficiary over three fiscal years, and applications may be submitted within twenty working days following the publication of the call extract in the Official Gazette of the Madrid Region. All information about these programs is available on the regional government’s website.
