The Regional Minister for Economy, Finance and Employment, Rocío Albert, highlighted these figures today during the awards ceremony of the 8th Edition of the Madrid Family Business Association (ADEFAM) Awards, held at the Beatriz building in the capital.
Albert has highlighted the fundamental role these companies play in Madrid’s productive fabric, due to their “vision, adaptability, and closeness, making the region a place of opportunity.” To continue supporting them, the regional government has approved the draft Law on Support for Family Businesses, a pioneering regulation that will facilitate generational succession through the introduction of significant tax benefits on acquisitions by inheritance or donation.
