The Madrid Region is Spain’s main hub for foreign direct investment: it leads in attracting investment flows, concentrates the largest share of investment stock, and accounts for one-third of national employment linked to foreign-owned companies.
During this second Global FDI Meeting, we had the opportunity to welcome renowned experts from the General Directorate for Trade Policy and Economic Security of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Business, including Rafael Linde García, Deputy Director General for Investor Regulation, and Fernando Carballada, Head of IT Services.
We were also joined by Andrés García, Managing Partner at Sifdi, who spoke about the most relevant foreign investment data in Spain and in the Madrid Region
