This was explained by the Regional Minister for Economy, Finance and Employment, Rocío Albert, alongside representatives from other Spanish regions during a roundtable discussion held as part of the event, organised by the events platform TRIVU.
“Madrid offers institutional stability and legal certainty. We do not change the rules halfway through the game, because our public policies are well-known, predictable and generate confidence,” Albert stressed.
As a reflection of this dynamism and the region’s competitive advantages for citizens and businesses, Madrid leads the creation of new companies in Spain, accounting for one out of every four new companies, contributes nearly 20% of national GDP, and is the leading region in attracting foreign investment, receiving 63.6% of the total between 2016 and 2025.
