The Madrid Region will support SME modernisation and launch a Drone Strategy in its 2026–2030 Industrial Plan

The Region of Madrid’s Minister for Economy, Finance and Employment, Rocío Albert, has defended the support measures included in the 2026–2030 Industrial Plan, highlighting initiatives such as the rollout of industrial districts, the modernisation and digitalisation of SMEs in the sector, and the launch of the first Strategy to Boost the Drone Ecosystem.

Albert underscored that the economic model of the Madrid Region has succeeded in creating the right conditions for the industrial sector to generate employment and wealth. As reflected in the 2025 Industrial Barometer, 95% of these professionals expect to maintain or increase their workforce—two percentage points above the national average—and 63% of respondents have very positive expectations regarding their company’s performance, six points higher than the national figure.
