Today we interview Javier Díaz Crespo, CEO of CERTIFICADA ES, SL
- 1.- Could you briefly explain what Certificada ES is?
We are a company whose purpose is to globalize access to cultural, tourism, historical and sports experiences, among others, using technology as the bridge that connects people with the experiences they seek—without barriers and with certified authenticity.
That is our purpose, and our business model aims to connect supply and demand, supported by high-quality technological development as the foundation. This creates a model in which all our stakeholders win:
- The general public, because they can enjoy experiences in an accessible way;
- Companies and institutions, because they can monetize their assets beyond what they currently achieve;
- The Madrid Region, because we will generate jobs, wealth and greater international exposure;
- Sponsors, because their brands will gain significant “goodwill” by promoting access to highly valued experiences;
- Investors, because they will enjoy healthy and profitable returns for every euro they choose to invest in this dream.
- 2.- How will Certificada ES position itself in the Madrid Region?
We chose the Madrid Region because it is the ideal base from which to access all the historical and religious heritage that Madrid and Spain offer. We aim to become a key partner for city councils, regional governments, museums and other organizations looking to enhance their value proposition to the world through the use of immersive technology, augmented reality and artificial intelligence.
- 3.- Who is your target audience?
Our value proposition simultaneously focuses on B2B2C. For example, if a tourism destination wants to monetize its assets among a “non-travelling” population, we have the platforms (Galileo360° and Appostolari) to reach an audience willing to pay for those experiences—creating value both for the destination and for the person fulfilling their dream of discovering something new that once felt out of reach.
For each vertical we develop in the future—such as sports—we will create new platforms to connect with those audiences eager to enjoy and be entertained using a highly universal tool: their mobile device (smartphone or tablet).
- 4.- What are your future prospects?
2026 will be a year to expand our portfolio of digital experiences in Spain, and from there to continue expanding the model to other countries in Europe and the Americas. The pilots we have carried out have been highly successful, which presents us with the major challenge of continuing to meet the expectations of our partners and clients.
- 5.- Why did you choose the Madrid Region as one of your key locations?
We are a company with Ecuadorian roots and understood that expanding our company—founded in 2023—required a headquarters that brought us closer to our stakeholders. The Madrid Region, in addition to being a world-leading technological ecosystem, offers numerous facilities and benefits to investors. When we added all the advantages together, the result was clear: we had to establish ourselves here.
- 6.- How would you describe your collaboration with Invest in Madrid?
First of all, we must highlight their immediate and friendly openness in receiving us, discussing our needs and guiding us through the process of establishing ourselves as a startup. Since then, they have become a very important strategic ally, helping promote our value proposition, connecting us with key contacts and instructing us on the alternatives and ways to access the many benefits the Community offers to investors.
- 7.- How many jobs do you expect to generate in the Madrid Region in the short and medium term, and what profiles do you require?
As a digital and creative company, most of our hiring needs will be for technical profiles such as platform programming, UX/UI, photography, digital marketing and CX. It is difficult to estimate how many jobs we will create, since each project will require different teams. However, we are confident that our value proposition has many unique strengths, so we are convinced we will establish several partnerships with institutions featured on our platforms—immediately translating into employment opportunities.
- 8.- Would you recommend the Madrid Region to other foreign investors considering expanding their business beyond their borders?
Absolutely—it’s a 100% yes. We are convinced we made the best decision to internationalize our company. Arriving in Madrid adds to us—in fact, it multiplies our opportunities.
