Today we interview Borja Arrillaga, CEO of Finaccess Value.
- Could you give us a brief overview of the company?
Finaccess Value is a regulated investment advisory firm belonging to the Finaccess Group, which was founded more than twenty-five years ago. We have a presence in Mexico, the United States, and Spain, and our mission is to assist our clients in achieving their wealth management objectives, adapting to their needs and leveraging our international experience. One of our defining characteristics is a long-term, wealth-preservation-oriented approach, focused on capital preservation regardless of the type of asset. - When did you arrive in Spain and how have you positioned yourselves in the Madrid Region?
Finaccess Value began operations in Spain in 2021 as part of the company’s global evolution. Its creation responds to the need to serve clients with international wealth who are seeking opportunities across different geographies. During this time, we have experienced significant growth both in terms of office space and business, adapting to our expanding needs. - Why did you choose the Madrid Region as one of your key locations?
Many current and potential clients are relocating to Europe. We chose Spain, and particularly the Madrid Region, as one of our key locations due to its legal certainty, economic stability, relevance as a financial center, and strategic location. Madrid has succeeded in maintaining a solid and transparent regulatory framework, generating confidence among investors and becoming an attractive place to live and work. - What would you recommend to other foreign investors considering opening their business in the Madrid Region?
To other foreign investors considering opening a business in Madrid, I would recommend seeking professional advice, carrying out thorough research, and relying on the support of local institutions and experts with proven experience and reputation. This will greatly facilitate the “landing” process in this great city that is Madrid—open to the world, welcoming, and with enormous potential. - Are you familiar with Invest in Madrid? Have you worked with them?
We are familiar with Invest in Madrid, and their experience and reputation have been very helpful to us. Although we have not participated in any activities with them so far, we do not rule out doing so in the future. - How many jobs do you expect to create in the Madrid Region in the short and medium term, and what type of profiles are you looking for?
We have ambitious growth objectives, and hiring will be carried out according to our needs, always in line with the group’s strategy. In the future, we will be looking for professionals with university education, financial knowledge, and relevant experience.
