Rocío Albert, Regional Minister for Economy, Finance and Employment, announced the event during the opening session of the Forbes House Business House Pole Position, organised by Forbes, which brought together executives, investment funds, sponsors and engineers to mark the return of the Formula 1 Grand Prix to Madrid, 45 years later.
Albert highlighted that both events share the same ambition and are moving forward in parallel, as “Formula 1 turns Madrid into the best international showcase during a few action-packed days”, while “the Madrid Investment Forum projects that same energy onto global investment”. The 2026 MIF will take place across Madrid city, Tres Cantos, Valdemoro, Villaconejos, Villanueva de la Cañada and Alcalá de Henares, with a programme showcasing the region’s competitive advantages in sectors such as data centres, Artificial Intelligence, biomedicine and defence. It will also feature a panel dedicated to the recovery of the Sierra Oeste following the major wildfire. The full event agenda can be consulted, and free registration is available subject to capacity, on the event website.
