The second edition of the Global Business Connect event has taken place at the DIGITALIZA MADRID Innovation Center, where we presented to international companies the initiatives that the Madrid Region is promoting to transform our region into a global hub for talent and business.

Luis Socías, Managing Director of Invest in Madrid, opened the event, which also featured prominent speakers such as:

Silvia Pina, Director of Permanent Recruitment at Hays, who shared key insights from the Hays Spain 2026 Salary & Recruiting Trends Guide and provided a clear view of what is really happening in the talent market: how companies are hiring, what professionals expect, and why talent strategy is becoming a key component of every investment decision.

During her speech, she stated that Madrid continues to demonstrate why it is one of the most attractive markets for international investors: strong talent, innovation, growth, and the right institutional support to help companies scale quickly.

The event concluded with a roundtable discussion in which Sonia Andrade, Managing Director at Hellio Spain, and Gonzalo Terrón, Group Leader at ARRK Engineering GmbH, shared their experiences in establishing and growing their companies in the Madrid Region
