This was announced by the Regional Minister for Economy, Finance and Employment, Rocío Albert, during the event celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Alcobendas Business Association (AICA), attended by an audience of business owners, self-employed professionals, executives and representatives of local business organisations.
“The Madrid Region will not take a single step backwards in defending economic freedom, legal certainty, and the legitimate right of people to improve their lives based on merit, talent and excellence,” the Regional Minister stressed, highlighting the regional Government’s support for private initiative as a driving force for prosperity.
She also pointed out that Alcobendas is home to more than 16,000 companies and self-employed professionals, generating a turnover of over €77.5 billion, which positions it as the third city in Spain by total turnover volume.
